About Lantzville

Lantzville is a coastal community on the east side of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada along the western shore of the Strait of Georgia and immediately north of the City of Nanaimo.

The District of Lantzville was incorporated on June 25, 2003. It covers an area of 27.87 square kilometers and has a population of 3,807. The district is almost completely residential, with some commercial buildings on Lantzville Road (formerly part of the Island Highway).

The 4.5 km long beach in the heart of Lantzville is a must see! There are access points to the beach almost every block with privacy to for an afternoon picnic. Lantzville also offers a number of useful and attractive neighborhood parks including Copley, Huddlestone and Rotary Parks. These parks provide an opportunity for visitors and residents to enjoy the surroundings of this community. Parks are located in both Upper and Lower Lantzville.
