About Central Nanaimo
Central Nanaimo is within 5-15 minutes of just about any point in the city. This including South, Central, and North End shopping malls, our cities Nanaimo Regional Hospital, golf courses, The Nanaimo Airport (YCD), and so much more. The wide variety of homes for sale in this large, central area of the city is what makes it so desirable by most homebuyers. Visit the duck pond, an amazing rhododendron grove with over 350 different species, or one of the amenities include an outdoor swimming pool that is open in the summer, sports fields, a curling club, outdoor lacrosse box, disc golf, tennis courts, horseshoe pitches, sand volleyball courts, two playgrounds, lawn bowling green, an outdoor amphitheatre available for weddings and other private events, as well as two covered picnic shelters.
